Red Lobster is Overcompensating

I’ve always found the restaurant name Red Lobster odd. Why are they pointing out the lobster’s color? Are they trying to cover up an alleged instance where a customer found a wrong color Lobster in their meal?

Are they like, “hey, pay no attention to that green-and-yellow-polka-dotted Lobster over there”?

Logic says no but this observer says yes.
