Cotton Candy is a Food

Cotton candy is a part of the fruit/vegetable pryamid section, and nobody will ever convince me otherwise.

  1. Fair Day, Hartplatz, MB, 1962: My dime invested, I stared at the large, green fly trapped in the swirling tub of pink angel hair. The carny in charge of cotton candy that day watched me. He had a hair net on his head and a half-smoked cigarette tucked behind one ear. He reached in with his paddle and deftly extricated the squirming fly from the spinning mixture. Smiling with black teeth he nodded at me as if to say, “there, is that better?” and then took the toothpick out of his mouth and casually let it drop into the tub.

Cotton candy may be food, just not my food.
